SUP Lake Mead
Lake Mead is the perfect place to give this hot new sport a try. The stand up paddleboard craze is sweeping the nation, and Lake Mead is the perfect location for
all skill levels, including those with no experience!
Our guides and instructors can have you on a SUP and learning proper paddling
techniques quickly and efficiently. Stand up paddling is great for your core muscles and will help you
gain a better sense of balance.
Spend some time learning the mechanics of a good forward stroke, proper edging techniques, and how to turn on a dime.
After you feel confident, you might try for a longer paddle out toward the Boulder Islands, or perhaps take a swim
in the refreshing waters of Lake Mead. Tour includes all equipment (high performance
SUP, adjustable paddle, leash, and PFD) plus a dry bag for your gear.
Be sure to wear a bathing suit in summer months; the water temperatures are perfect for swimming.
A professional guide will be at your side all day to offer instruction, stories, local history, and
the information about construction of the Hoover Dam. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your stand up paddleboard
adventure on Lake Mead.
