Is there a minimum age requirement?
Participants must be at least 6 years or older.

What kind of experience do your guides have?
Our fishing guides have years of experience; both personally and professionally. They possess a vast knowledge of fishing regulations, breeding habits, seasons, gear, and local history. Before they can become guides, they must undergo strict training programs which prepare them to manage groups, make good decisions, and handle emergencies. They are skilled kayakers, and amazing fishermen. CPR and First Aid training, as well as Wilderness First Aid or First Responder is standard, and we carry satellite radios, marine radios, and/or cell phones at all times.

How much should I tip my guide?
Your guides work very hard to make sure your experience is rewarding and memorable. They often spend hours preparing before your trip to ensure your comfort and physical needs are met. During a trip, your guide is constantly on the lookout to minimize risks and maximize enjoyment. They appreciate your verbal praise and thanks, as well as monetary gratuities. Any cash tips can be given to the guide at the end of the trip. Gratuities generally range between 10%-20% of the total trip price, at your discretion.

What should I bring/wear?
Take a look at our packing list section, for a complete outline of items to bring on your mountain biking trip.  If you have questions, don't hesitate to call our office. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about clothing, hiking boots, sleeping bag ratings, etc.

Do you supply alcohol? May we bring our own?
No. Alcohol is not permitted on any guided day tour. On overnight trips, alcohol is permitted at camp in the evening in moderation.

When should I make a reservation?
Space is limited, so you should make your reservations as soon as possible.

Are there minimum participant requirements?
Our minimum participant requirement for fishing is normally 2 people - as long as space is available. If you are going solo, please call to ask about your options.

Should I buy travel insurance?
