Itinerary - Eldorado Gold Mine
Enjoy the Wild West from the comfort of your air-conditioned seat. Our 4x4 SUV sightseeing
excursion into the past of the historical Eldorado Canyon is unique and takes passengers on their
own private journey. You’ll enjoy an off-road trip up and around trails that were meant for Bighorn
sheep and mule driven ore wagons. The wide open sky, the Colorado river, and spectacular views of
the mountain ranges leading to the Grand Canyon are an awesome site.
We’ll take you right up to old mines along the trail. Look deep into these shafts and envision the
back-breaking work done by prospectors over a century ago as they chased gold veins deep into this
rugged mountainside.
The wagon stop at our Old West Town will take you back in time, featuring
foundations from one of the original Mining Camps of the 1800’s. Listen to the sound of a natural spring that supplies precious water to
the desert wildlife in the area. This small spring attracts big horn sheep, the kit fox and a
variety of desert wildlife, so look closely as not to miss the creatures that blend into the
natural landscape of the desert.
BBQ Lunch
Enjoy a delicious BBQ Lunch (Spring/Summer Meal is Picnic Lunch) under our covered Pavilion. Go for a
ride in our new, 6 Passenger Ranger that will take you to the best viewing spot in the canyon! This trip
is great for the whole family.
Visit our unique collection of reptiles and other desert critters
including snakes, lizards, spiders and more; and stop in our Rock exhibit featuring amazing rocks from
around the world.
Dinner Show
Our evening tour features a ride in our new, 6 Passenger Ranger that will take you to the best viewing spot in the canyon! Great for Families.

All afternoon tours include a Western Fire Dinner Show featuring Professional Fire Spinners who
