Eldorado ATV Tour - Itinerary
You will be picked up at your hotel in a comfortable, safe vehicle and transported to Eldorado Canyon.
You will begin your day with the Techatticup gold mine tour. Next you will be fitted with helmets, goggles
and gloves, and given a brief but thorough safety and operations orientation.
Experience the best ATV tour Las Vegas has to offer. Ride your ATV on an off-road excursion, up and around
trails that were meant for big horn sheep and mule driven ore wagons. Big open sky, the Colorado river and
amazing views of the mountain ranges leading to the Grand Canyon are an awesome site from a mountaintop.
ATVs are late model 4-wheel drive, fully automatic, and easy to operate. Both beginners and experienced
riders will be ready to hit the trail with our professional guides. We’ll be riding on extreme mountain
terrain, surrounded by forests of cholla cactus, and towering rock formations.
Step right into the pages of history, with a walking tour of the Techaticcup mine. We will venture deep
into this gold mine, which locals claim is haunted. Explore 3 different mine shafts, one of which descends
over 900 feet into the earth. Learn how the hardiest of men labored feverishly looking for gold. Chiseling
their way through the mountainside inch by inch, they worked with the most primitive of tools, and the light
of a single candle.
Our stop at the Old West Town will take you back in time, featuring foundations from one of the original
Mining Camps of the 1800’s.
Those on the morning tour will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch under our covered
pavilion, listening to the sound of a natural spring nearby. This small spring attracts bighorn sheep,
the kit fox and a variety of desert wildlife, so look closely as not to miss the creatures that blend into
the natural landscape of the desert. Explore the reptile and mineral exhibit which includes snakes, lizards
and more.
Evening Tour
In addition, the evening ATV tour includes a BBQ dinner at our Old Western Town's covered pavillion.

Details: Approximately 2 hours of ATV trail riding in Eldorado Canyon. Terrain consists of flat trails, gravel, sand, hill climbing, and rock crawling. Stream crossings in certain seasons.
Equipment: Single person ATV's, or Rangers/Rhinos available. All safety equipment is provided, along with basic riding instruction.
Gold Mines: Short hikes into old mines. Internal tour of Historic Savage Gold Mine chambers.
Difficulty: Easy
Skill Level: Beginner +
